I ordered this book last month for a prisoner in California, and he has already sent me a review of it. this can be what he wrote:
"I simply finished reading 'Serving Productive Time' and therefore the stories are inspiring - a number of them are greatly like things I might say concerning my very own life and stirred emotions in me (yes, he cried!). At the top of every chapter there's a questionnaire/exercise that you simply will do, that the reader will interact with the book. The book is well-written and place along, and whereas it's plenty of Christian stories, there also are secular and different spiritual viewpoints acknowledged, thus even a non-Christian might scan the book while not taking 'offense'. The book has contact info for many of the those that contributed stories to it, that is nice, as even supposing some are in jail there are a number of that I arrange on contacting. every chapter additionally has contact information for outreach programs (a few that i'm additionally contacting) and short sections on topics like 'selecting a school or university'. I enjoyed reading this, it absolutely was terribly uplifting and that i advocate it for different prisoners that wish idea's on how they'll serve their time productively. I solely want I had additional copies of it to share with different inmates - my copy is already being passed around!"
